Zentralbereich Neuenheimer Feld

The SERVICE CENTRE Neuenheimer Feld (ZNF) is the central operating unit of Heidelberg University and provides lab and site services for scientists on campus. We supervise lecture theatres and seminar rooms with a capacity of more than 1,700 seats to support study and teaching operations.

Our specialised departments in the areas of building services, lab services & safety, scientific workshops, and central warehouse (with affiliated ZNF shop) provide a wide range of services for Heidelberg University facilities.

The central warehouse supplies the facilities of Heidelberg University and the University Hospital with lab supplies on site and online via a shop system. Chemicals, lab aids, and materials for daily use can be purchased here with the ZNF customer card.
